Auditions – Merry Wives of Windsor

Auditions MWW

Shakespeare Live’s summer production in 2018 will be The Merry Wives of Windsor, to be performed at Cleeve House near Seend from Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th July.

Auditions will be held on Sunday 21st January 2018 at Cleeve House* from 10am to 4pm

The play offers strong parts for actors of all ages, male and female, including children. The production will also give plenty of scope for those who prefer not to take a large role, with a substantial supporting cast of Windsor residents!

Friends who are familiar with Shakespeare Live and newcomers to the group are equally welcome. Come for whichever part of the day suits you – on arrival we will ask you to complete a short form indicating if possible which part(s) you may be interested in playing. We will ask you to join with other prospective players in reading/performing short extracts from the script – but if you wish to prepare a representative speech from your chosen character we will be happy to hear that as well.

If you would like to be considered for a part but will have difficulty attending the audition please email us: shakespearelive@outlook.com

*Cleeve House is on the A361 Trowbridge to Devizes road, on the right as you approach Seend coming from the Trowbridge direction, postcode SN12 6PG
